Had a relaxing stay with family of 8, all adults. Plenty of space for everyone to relax, spread out, and be alone or with others. Nicely quiet while still on a main road. We loved this property because we all had our own space and the shared living areas were large enough to accommodate our group of 10. Convenient & Cozy

We rented this property to bring our family together in birthday celebration. We had grandparents, siblings and cousins. This place isn't fancy, but the large wooden kitchen table to bring us together at the end of the day for family dinner was a highlight! Another big plus is the convenience to the beach- only a short walk. This was key, especially for the grandparents who needed a break from the sun. The kitchen was well equipped, and there is a decent supply of leftover spices and essentials left from previous renters. The water pressure in the showers was great, even when more than one shower was being used simultaneously. We had trouble with the grill starting. We contacted Lee and he responded quickly and corresponded with the owners who quickly replaced the grill with a new one. Bring your own beach chairs and umbrellas but there is a good supply of kids beach toys to use. The deck off the upper bedrooms was a great spot to watch the sunrise over the ocean. The only drawback is the comfort of the queen beds. The mattress was unforgiving and rock hard. The king bed on the main level had a topper and I would highly suggest the owner do the same for the queen beds. Perfect for our crew

This was our first stay at the cabin, but one of many at the beach. We all live locally and stay at the beach for Memorial Day weekend every year. We are 4 adults, 1 child, and 2 teens. This cabin is perfect for our crew. The kitchen is fully stocked and we loved the big table we could all eat at together. The living room was a great size as well. Everyone had their own room which was another plus. The views are great. The upstairs rooms have a wonderful view of the beach. Downstairs has partial view, which was just fine with us. The cabin was clean and as described. The walk to the beach is by far the best part. It's super short. This is a big plus!! We have already booked for next year. We haven't stayed anywhere twice. There are many nice places to stay on the island, but this cabin wins for its size, closeness to the beach, restaurants near by, outdoor spaces, and cost! - (Jun 2021 - VRBO)

Wonderful cabin with the best beach access

We absolutely loved our stay here. The cabin is wonderfully stocked and nicely updated. We had 10 adults and 2 children (4 and 7) and it was perfect for us. Having our own direct beach access that was a very short walk made it that much easier with the little ones. We ran into a couple issues due to the weather, but the property manager was in immediate contact with us and resolved everything in a timely manner. Excellent Stay

We had a great time together in this very unique property. The property easily accommodated our group of 7. The house was comfortable and was well stocked. The manager was a star, usually responding to questions within seconds. Yes, the house is on a road as others have noted, but my wife and mother in law who are VERY sensitive to traffic noise barely noticed...the road was not busy. The fishing was outstanding, the beach was not crowded, and we were very close to historic downtown Amelia Island. Charming, rustic, clean, comfortable ocean front log cabin

The log cabin is a clean, comfrtable, charming, rustic home with modern conveniences. The well-equipped large kitchen with its large table provided the perfect place for us to enjoy meals and family board games. The sheets, towels and beds were all in good condition. We brought beach towels with us as these are not provided. Three full-size couches made the living room a comfortable gathering place. Having the sea in our backyard was a dread! We enjoyed walking on the beach and shelling. We discovered a great casuual local restaurant/bar within an easy walk along the beach. The cabin's location was a short drive to all of the Fernandina Beach highlights as well as to shopping and grocery stores. We would stay her again if we return to this area. - (Jan 2020 - VRBO)

Family Christmas

The cabin on the beach was the perfect place for our first family vacation. Lots of room for 7 people and 3 fur babies. Lots to do in the area or just watch Christmas movies!
